As I wrote in my last post, in English - a nod to the English-speaking friends and acquaintances (especially that described stay outside the U.S.), go to Polish was super successful. After arriving in SF at the beginning I stopped at my good friend Michelle, a dog trainer. Back to our Formosan Mountain Dogs ... having a dog in SF or California is like playing with fire. Fortunately, Bai Bee is a hybrid of a different race, which does not mean it is without flaws. He, in turn, not fond of dogs, which is a bit unusual for dogs raised on the street, but you may just have had no luck for the good buddies:) The moment you leave home to go into a state of full readiness, all senses focused on one task - detecting dog! So Michelle asked me to care, not a girl, with whom he lives.
to your (old) moved into the apartment after 5 days of arriving in SF ... for 9 days. My friends, the owners of bitches Lola went for 2 weeks and left Lola with housing under my care. During the stay of two weeks we were accompanied by a dog Rocky, which proved to be a great opportunity to workout for me (Lola is one of the dogs defending their possessions, the owners, toys, etc..) buying organic food occasionally, now almost religiously:) We also swapped the meat on the fish and so far, after 8 weeks they can hammer nails without a hammer;)
The change habits in May, I signed up for the gym. The club is called 24HOUR Fitness, has plenty of outlets in several states and many of them are open 24 hours a day, or late into the night. I'm not entirely convinced of this idea, I prefer to address the court - to ride a bike, or run, but sometimes it is very ungrateful. I visit The SPCA is now much less frequent, but it officially finished an internship, or at least that part where I cared about most, is still happy I fall on Alabama Street:)
I am currently developing a training certificate. I train volunteers, SPCA, or współprowadzę lead group activities for owners and their dogs and the other interns are developing our own program activities. A little reluctantly we're doing, because everyone busy, but by mid-July the program should be ready for presentation - our students will be other trainers and their dogs, will not lightly:)
For two weeks I worked well with the hybrid Australian Cattle Dog, a great, very smart dog. Buddha, because that's the name of dog, completely does not know how to find in the hostel, to the extent that the bite of the wall. Despite the increased dose of exercise and movement compared to other dogs, it was and is certainly not enough, at the end of these dogs were created for forcing cattle during the long and exhausting trips to the market. As I mentioned earlier, May was mega windy and altogether pretty cool except for one week. Just then, a place to run Bay to Breakers in San Francisco was 35C in the shade, especially wind. Running always takes place in three Sunday in May, the route has about 12km. Some people run to the check, they have numbers and are starting on startup (if) on time. San Francisco is a mega-specific and what is the norm here, would be shocking in other states or countries. Although much has changed, I hope that to some extent, in Poland.
As in many cities around the world, last weekend was a parade of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) and, in principle, several parades and events, the main parade was on Sunday. Transgender is the identification with the opposite sex to the sex club. By the way, I learned that transgender does not mean a particular sexual orientation, transgender people may be heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, men, poly, and asexual. Man learns life:) I
and my friends, no matter whether Polish, European, or American we are aware of differences and the fact that some events that are fun here, in our countries / states would be perceived as shocking and scandalous.
SF Pride is really the celebration of the city and the Bay Area. There are a lot of people with children, it might not be a family picnic, but there is no atmosphere of scandal. Not heterosexual employees of banks, schools, police, municipal offices, various companies and institutions, including the SPCA walk in the parade. Of course, heterosexual or marching in a gesture of support. There are crowds of onlookers set stands, live broadcast by local television, is simply normal. At the end of "praise" is my latest discovery:) Well, after months of looking, not very intense indeed, I discovered that if I wanted to play for fun to the event, it is best to choose those that are in the name European or French word, who would have thought:) It sounds funny, but for example, French Tuesdays, enjoy a whole lot more successful than the American on Tuesday:)
