recently talked about what appears on television. What (and how) social problems are presented in the house window to the world. That may be distorted. Or tactfully ignored. And I have an example of how lack of television presentation affects the reception of this event in the "real world".

Spin doctor and film producer in television viewers generate an artificial war (prefigured by known conventional wars with other images) to cover up the scandal, which actually took place. Scandal disappears. And the images on the screen and the viewers' imagination. At the time of "Outbreak" real war "bomb" is disarmed.
