Fantastic Mr. Fox Roald'a Dahl'a This brief history of the eternal struggle of man with animals, the farmer pests. You can also look at this problem the opposite - a constant struggle for survival of animals against man. Fantastic Mr. Fox is a story about how the three evil poultry farmers: Boggis, Bunce and Bean fought with the wise Mr. Fox. Regardless of their size as breeders (questionable professionalism), their sole purpose was destruction of a fox family.

Mr. Fox having to feed a sizeable family - Mrs fox and four small lisiÄ…tek - is a frequent guest in pens that do not necessarily industrious trio. However, until such time as the hosts patience is exhausted. Then begins - first fox hunt, and then chasing the fleeing fox's your family, to which the joining time the whole forest animals. At this point it should stop the story book, because divulging further details can render the reader's pleasure of reading. It is impossible However, beyond the wisdom and cleverness Lisa Lord, who with knowledge of the "land" to reach underground excavation pantry breeders. His discovery has, together with other animals, frightened and running away from kopiÄ…cymi men. Tortured and starved animals translate their miserable fate of a renegade in the joyful feast at tables laden with food. This short story about an underground escape of animals can be frightening for young readers, and the heavy moments experienced by the falling of the forces during the Foxes to save lives in the underground tunnels are more sensitive to what to cause the child crying and tears. But the joy of saving both the fox family, as well as all animals crowned with great feasting at the expense of would-be executioners probably will rejoice all readers, not just the younger ones.

book was made into Roald'a Dahl'a by the creators of Ice Age, and the fantastic voice of Mr. Fox gave George Clooney, but book well worth reading, especially that little Penguin edition is richly illustrated and the book is short and does not take much time.

Illustrations and quotations are taken from the book
